TRADIES @ WORK– making a board game
This activity is a fun way to encourage students to investigate jobs and hazards, risks and other safety issues in their industry.
Students are required to research safety points and incorporate them into a board game.
A worksheet explaining the activity to the student is included.
This activity was developed by Dee Rackham and Dawn Doherty, Berwick Technical College. It can be used to support learning outcomes in Work Related Skills Unit 1 and Reading and Writing (Learning outcomes 2 & 7).
